The Advanced U13 courses for 11-13-year-old cricketers in Years 7 and 8 at school offer a fantastic opportunity for young players to develop their cricket skills at the Lord's Performance Centre.
These two-day courses cover all aspects of the game, including bowling, batting, and fielding, as well as the importance of the Spirit of Cricket and fair play. This age group will highlight the importance of competition with a focus on developing specific cricket skills and tactics.
Players will learn how to play to win while still emphasizing the importance of learning and improving their skillsets. Under the guidance of coaches, players will take ownership of their game, discussing the key areas to practice, how they want to practice, and what is valuable to them in the game.
This course will also include a tour of the Historic Lord's ground, including the Museum, Pavilion and Players Changing Rooms (subject to other events in the ground on these days). Players will get an unprecedented insight into the history of the 'Home of Cricket', unique to the Lord's experience.
