The Advanced U13 courses for 11-13-year-old cricketers in Years 7 and 8 at school offer a fantastic opportunity for young players to develop their cricket skills at the Lord's Performance Centre.
These two-day courses cover all aspects of the game, including bowling, batting, and fielding, as well as the importance of the Spirit of Cricket and fair play. This age group will highlight the importance of competition with a focus on developing specific cricket skills and tactics.
Players will learn how to play to win while still emphasizing the importance of learning and improving their skillsets. Under the guidance of coaches, players will take ownership of their game, discussing the key areas to practice, how they want to practice, and what is valuable to them in the game.
This course also has the added benefit of the dates coinciding with Day 4 of the second County Championship match of the season at Lord's (Middlesex vs Worcestershire) and therefore participants will be able to watch some of the action during their lunch break, and are welcome to stay to watch the remaining play at the end of the first day of this Easter Holiday Course.
